The purpose of this organization shall be:
Section 1 To promote and encourage appropriate use of equipment and techniques for the improvement of government information systems.
Section 2 To provide a platform for showing and exchanging ideas, techniques, material, and procedures among government organizations relating to information systems.
Section 3 To promote the general recognition of the vital professional role played by information systems specialists in a modern community and of the high level of competence required for this role.
Section 4 To conduct educational seminars and conferences.
